Exploring Singapore in 2 Days

There is too much to experience in The Lion City but we only had two days to explore because of work constraints. Our short visit to Singapore made us experience really good food, Universal Studios, the Garden Rhapsody at Gardens by the Bay , and the city itself.

Changi Airport already had us in awe as we touched down on “The World’s Best Airport”. Our smiles never vanished as we made our way to the city passing by well-groomed flowers and trees perked on the isles in the middle of the roads. Such a refreshing sight and what a warm welcome.

After checking in, we made our way to the Esplanade Park for an afternoon stroll.

Close to Esplanade Park is the iconic Merlion where too many people are flocking around.

It was so clean everywhere that we enjoyed walking around all the way to Gardens by the Bay passing by the bridge, a soccer field, and a good view of Marina Bay Sands.

Passed by a soccer field and a colorful stadium on the way to The Gardens By The Bay.

We secured our seats at Gardens by the Bay as we waited for the Garden Rhapsody at the Supertree Grove. It is a free show at the Gardens and a tourist atttaction so there are always many people around waiting for the show.

We then walked our way from Gardens by the Bay to Satay by the Bay for dinner and everything we ate was just really, really good. Satay by the Bay is like a food park, you go around and choose from which stalls you will buy your food.

We were up early on Day 2 to make our way to Mount Faber for a cable car ride to Sentosa Island. We were very early at Mount Faber so we had enough time to roam around before we boarded the first cable car ride of the day overlooking Singapore.

We had an unlimited Cable Car Sky Pass so we maximized it by making our way to Siloso Point Station from Mount Faber Station through cable car.

Singapore
Why do you tell me to stop and go at the same time? 🙁

Do as much rides and shows as your time allows. Get a copy of the map and show schedule for the day at the entrance. Make time for the scheduled parade and fireworks at night.

Singapore
Passed by a colorful stadium as we walked around.

We made our way to Mustafa Centre for dicounted goods before calling it a day. (Universal Studios Singapore to Mustafa Centre, 24 minutes, SGD15~Php570 by Grabcar)

Singapore sure made us smile albeit a very short stay of two days. We wanted to stay longer but our time didn’t allow us.

We felt safe walking around. How the people are very disciplined are clearly seen on how it was conspicuously clean and orderly everywhere.
